You will belong to the geo and rock engineering unit in Gothenburg

As our new experienced CAD Engineer , you will be part of our transformation journey where the focus is on understanding future needs, both in terms of technical and digital competence, and then translating that into new business opportunities for our clients. We are looking for someone who is driven to work on exciting projects where you will be close to clients and contractors. We are currently in the construction phase of Västlänken, in the final phase of the Bohusbanan construction, and in the startup phase of our recently won subway projects as part of the Yellow Line. We collaborate multidisciplinarily at Ramboll both nationally and internationally.

We are located in bright and airy offices in Gårda, close to both tram and train at Liseberg Station. Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D models for rock engineering and find it fun and challenging to see how future rock engineering will evolve
  • Create 2D drawings in plan, profile, and section for rock and geo-engineering
  • Creation of rock surface models
  • Proficiency in producing as-built drawings
  • Will work to coordinate and lead team members in the Ramboll Engineering Center in India

  • You have 5 years of work experience
  • You have 3 years of experience in CAD design within rock and/or geotechnics
  • Experience in geology, rock engineering, geotechnics, and leadership skills is advantageous
  • You have a university degree or vocational education in CAD design
  • Experience with OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks, GeoSuite is advantageous
  • You speak Swedish and English
