Job Opening: Machinist

We are currently looking for a skilled machinist to work with new production of machines for our partner. The company operates in mechanics, manufacturing items such as press locks, steel cables, and press machines that are delivered to customers primarily in workshops and industry. In your role, you will work on the new production of their own press machines with a focus on material processing in the form of turning and milling. You will adjust, set up, and maintain the machines to ensure optimal conditions for production. If necessary, you will also work on the assembly and repair of spare parts. The work takes place in a smaller team where you have the opportunity to influence your professional role and develop within your field.

Employment type: This is initially a consultancy assignment. For the right person, there is an opportunity to transition to our partner provided everything works well.

Your Profile

Requirements:
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in manual turning
• Production experience/machining

To be considered for this role, we see that you have previous experience operating machines, preferably NC machines. A high school education in technology or equivalent work experience is a significant plus. As a person, you are driven, curious, and self-sufficient. Finally, you have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and ensure that your work is performed with great precision.
