Bohusgranit is hiring a stone worker

Bohusgranit is a company within the Benders Group that extracts and produces natural stone products. The company employs about 75 people who quarry and refine products from curbstones, paving stones, and walls to unique artworks.

Do you want to work with the refinement of granite and become one of the few stone workers in Sweden? Now you have the chance! Benders, Bohusgranit is looking for a new employee for our production unit in Ävja, where you will have the opportunity to learn a traditional craft in a work environment focused on collaboration and quality.

About the role

As a stone worker, you will become an important part of our production and refinement of granite. The work involves learning crafts in our factory that include splitting and chiseling products, such as walls, posts, and curbstones. The work is conducted outdoors year-round and is physically demanding.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a B driver's license, which is a requirement for the position. It is also an advantage if you have a high school diploma, as well as forklift and/or wheel loader licenses, and experience in similar work. Since the work is done in teams, we place great importance on your personal qualities – we are looking for a cheerful and positive person who contributes to a good atmosphere and collaborates to achieve common results. To thrive in the role, you need to have good physical fitness and enjoy working outdoors.

Other

The position is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will work full-time during the day at the Ävja quarry, and the start date will be agreed upon. We apply continuous selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than 2025-02-08.
