About the Company

GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with parts for aircraft engines together form Engines, and at our facility in Trollhättan, we develop and manufacture advanced parts for engines for aircraft and space rockets. We also work with engine maintenance.

GKN Aerospace has production facilities in Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norway), Mexico, and the USA. They also have an engineering office in Bangalore, India, and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg. The headquarters for Engines is located in Trollhättan.

Your Responsibilities

The main tasks include inspection using both manual measuring tools and CMM, deburring, and assembly. Here, you work closely with production technology and have significant responsibility regarding product quality.

LEAN is a natural part of the work, and you are expected to actively participate in improvement efforts by contributing ideas and taking responsibility for assigned activities.

We are looking for someone who is communicative, service-oriented, and contributes to a positive atmosphere in the team with an open and positive attitude. It is important that you can collaborate as you will be part of a team around the product. In addition to the social aspect, there is a strong focus on being responsible, quality-conscious, and wanting to develop and deliver in your work.Requirements for the Position

- High school diploma
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Previous experience in machining, deburring, inspection, or other relevant tasks
