The Production Technology department at Swegon is responsible for the design of all manufacturing processes, internal logistics, and layout of the factory. The team of production engineers is divided into three groups focusing on machine, assembly, and material handling. Production Technology supports the entire production organization in Kvänum with daily improvements, implementation of new products, and innovative solutions to maintain a top-class factory.

Your Responsibilities

As a production engineer at Swegon, your tasks will involve the development, change, and improvement of processes. The role requires close collaboration with many internal, external, and international contacts in both small and large assignments as well as projects. Therefore, good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form, is required.

Your tasks will include, among others:

• Designing and adapting machines/assembly stations to meet future demands for automation and digitalization.
• Developing and ensuring processes/methods for the introduction of new or modified products.
• Driving and implementing production-related improvement work.

The position is full-time, daytime, based in Kvänum. Initially, you will be employed as a consultant through Professionals Nord, with the goal of your employment transitioning to Swegon after six months.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with relevant education in engineering, production technology, or equivalent work experience from the industry. Experience in production technology work in one or more areas such as automation, electronics, assembly, or quality is advantageous. We also view positively if you have previously worked as a project manager or project participant.

You have a structured approach to work and possess good communication skills, where your engagement builds trusting relationships. A valid driver's license (B) is a prerequisite for the position.
