Gipsgjutaren is a modern LSS residence in Enskede, Stockholm, with a particular focus on communication, independence, and innovative solutions. Here we offer individuals with extensive disabilities a safe and pleasant environment where the individual's needs and rights to participation are at the center.

Our goal is to create an environment where communication is key – and the common thread in everything we do. We actively work with both analog and digital communication aids, and have high competence in AAC. The residence is specifically designed for individuals with extensive support needs, and here we use eye-controlled computers, Google Assist, and other smart technical solutions to increase the residents' independence. With the help of these, they can control functions such as music, TV, and lighting themselves.

The tasks of a residential support worker include documentation, creating implementation plans, and being a contact person. As a residential support worker with us, you start from the individual's needs and wishes. You work pedagogically to support each person in their daily life and personal development.

• Personal care (hygiene, meals, dressing)
• Daily chores such as cleaning, cooking, shopping
• Outings, walks, and leisure activities
• Communication and social support – using AAC and technical tools
• Documentation, implementation plans, and being a contact person

• Education in care and nursing (at least 1400 credits) or children and leisure with a social/pedagogical focus
• Experience with LSS and working with individuals with multiple disabilities
• Solid knowledge of AAC and interest in digital communication
• Experience with aids such as eye control, signs, and pictorial support
• Good documentation skills – you can independently write implementation plans
• Good physical ability
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of Rett syndrome is an advantage

About Gipsgjutaren

At the end of May 2024, we opened the doors to the Gipsgjutaren group home located in the picturesque garden area of Enskede, a short trip from central Stockholm. Here, on an idyllic villa plot, we have created a residence with three floors that contains 6 individually adapted apartments.

Every detail of the building has been designed in consultation with heritage conservationists to harmonize with the local 1920s architecture, making Gipsgjutaren not only a home but also a part of Enskede's cultural heritage.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
