System Manager Wanted at LFV in Malmö

LFV is currently seeking a system manager for an intermittent employment position in our team in Malmö! Here you will contribute to safe and efficient air traffic while having the opportunity to work with innovative technology and digitalization.

The System & Development department (SoU) conducts communication, navigation, and surveillance services. The department is also responsible for LFV's administrative information technology as well as development activities, system planning, and procurement. The department is also responsible for LFS technical equipment for air traffic control services, flight briefing services, and flight weather services.

Your Responsibilities

You will work in support of the system manager (SA) for systems within system management for LFV's delivery of AIS and ATFM services. The role also includes being a project owner for various projects within the management area. The system manager's mission, where you will provide support, is to be responsible for a system or a system group during its management phase.

This role involves activities related to governance, budget responsibility, change management, user support, maintenance, and operations. Within the framework of management, further development and decommissioning are also planned, decided, and handled.

In addition to having a good technical overview, you have knowledge of the operations that the system supports and continuously analyze the strategies, requirements, and needs of the operations and the surrounding world. Since we have facilities throughout Sweden, some travel is also included in the position.

Your Profile

To be successful in the role of System Manager, you need the following qualifications and experiences:

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent competence through extensive experience in the field.
• At least five years of experience as a system manager, specifically within AIS and ATFM services.
• At least five years of experience with technical systems and operational activities within air traffic services or equivalent areas.
• Experience in project management or managerial positions.
• Good knowledge of economics.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English with a strong ability to express oneself in both speech and writing.

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills while being proactive and able to work independently. You also need to have good analytical skills and deliver high quality. You have the ability to engage and motivate employees.

Additional Information

The position is an intermittent employment with an hourly wage of approximately 20% based in Sturup.
