Nursing Positions Available at the Nephrology Department!

The Nephrology Department and Clinical Education Unit (KUA) are expanding, and we are currently working to open a third care team. Therefore, we welcome new nurses!

The Nephrology Department KUA is part of specialized medicine. We care for patients in need of specialized kidney care, as well as those who are multi-ill and elderly. There is close collaboration between the kidney outpatient clinic and the dialysis clinic.

KUA is a part of the nephrology department where elderly patients in need of medical care, nursing, and rehabilitation are treated. Students from the medical, nursing, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy programs at Lund University collaborate in interdisciplinary teams around the patient, providing an opportunity to train both teamwork and their profession-specific roles. They work independently under the supervision of experienced staff, focusing on both nursing and medical decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are a close-knit and cheerful team with an open atmosphere, working in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The fact that we have many students from different professions with us has created a work environment where there are no stupid questions, and we constantly learn from each other and our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. It is a plus if you have experience in kidney care, but it is not a requirement. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.

As a person, you value the variation of working both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues. You are social, flexible, and appreciate working in a study-oriented environment.
