Vårdcentralen Norra Fäladen is in strong development, where we improve our operations through a clear focus on education and a well-structured approach to meet our patients' needs in the best possible way. We aim to be among the first public healthcare centers to implement a more digital working method to meet the wishes of our population. Currently, we have about 10,500 registered patients, a large proportion of whom are students at Lund University. The healthcare center operates within the framework of health choice and is accredited for child healthcare. We also have a diabetes clinic as well as physiotherapy and occupational therapy services. We are also part of Lund's first Family Center.

At the healthcare center, there are specialists in general medicine, district nurses, diabetes nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants. Together, we are over 40 employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking forward to welcoming a specialist physician to us at Vårdcentralen Norra Fäladen!

In your role as a specialist physician in general medicine, you will work with commonly occurring tasks within your specialty. Our patients are registered with a named physician, which means that all physicians are responsible for their own patient list. We help each other with emergency care and staffing during our opening hours Monday to Friday 8-17. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to development based on individual conditions and interests. The specialist physicians in general medicine round at two special accommodations and also serve at the child healthcare center and midwifery clinic.

At the unit, we believe in the ongoing development of our employees and our operations. Our physician group collectively has a broad experience base and competence. The healthcare center is a center of knowledge in general medicine as we also have research competence among our staff. Additionally, there is continuous work on operational development. Therefore, we want you to be interested in creative thinking and be part of the development work focused on offering our patients the best possible care. The specialist physicians help each other to be question doctors for our training physicians.

We strive to maintain a high level of patient safety and a good working environment, among other things through regular meetings and internal training, both within the physician group and with the entire clinic. Furthermore, we have a good collaboration within the physician group and with other professional categories.

Your work is scheduled during the day, but there is also the possibility of some on-call duty within primary care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has specialist competence in general medicine. Additionally, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement.
