About the job as a distributor

As a distributor at VTD, you need to be adaptable, where your focus may need to quickly shift between different products and delivery options. It is a job that requires problem-solving skills, local knowledge, and good physical fitness as it involves a high pace with a lot of stair climbing. The work is outdoors, which means that weather is a significant part of your work environment.

As a distributor, you start your shift at a branch or pick-up location. At the branch, you count and pack your products before setting off on an assigned route. During the night, you deliver packages, newspapers, and mail to customers until early morning. Our products are distributed via car, electric quad bike, electric moped, or electric bicycle. All vehicles are provided by VTD.

These are our mandatory requirements for the position as a distributor

• A valid work permit. Your work permit must be approved, i.e., not pending with the Swedish Migration Agency.
• You must be at least 18 years old to work with us
• You can read, understand, and write longer texts in Swedish or English.

We also consider it beneficial if you have a B driver's license or previous experience working as a distributor.

Working hours and schedule

• The employment rate is generally between 37-54%
• Schedule: No set schedule, but the most common at VTD is working 7 days, off 3 days, working 7 days, off 4 days

Salary

The salary is paid in arrears, meaning it is paid out the month after. The salary is negotiated according to the collective agreement with the Transport Workers' Union and corresponds to 157.17 SEK/hour and overtime pay between 10-32 SEK/hour. An average position with us is about 70%, which means a salary of about 19,000 SEK excluding overtime supplements.
