What do we offer?

As a material handler with us, you will be part of a team that works broadly with various logistics flows and handles materials physically as well as all surrounding flows. You will face new challenges daily and have contact with several businesses as customers. Logistics is organizationally part of the Pilot Plant and Logistic unit.

We work towards a lean and quality-assured flow for delivery to customers both within the area and to colleagues around the world. Here you have the opportunity to be part of the development of future cars.

Working hours:

We are currently looking for material handlers for both day and evening shifts. The working hours are:

• Day shift: 06:30 – 15:12
• Evening shift: 15:00 – 23:18

What will you perform?

With us, you will be responsible for the material flow with a wide variety of materials from all over the world. Among other things, you will work with materials for our test rigs and development, as well as bodies and complete cars in the area. We are also responsible for package deliveries to the entire area and shipments outside Volvo's area.

You will operate both counterbalance and reach trucks.

The work involves heavy lifting of materials and packages, repackaging of materials, and other physical tasks, so good physical condition is important. Your day will consist of various assignments, so it is important that you enjoy significant variations.

You will have close contact with colleagues in the area as well as with external suppliers on logistics-related issues and contribute specialist expertise in appropriate forums. We follow customs directives, which means close contact with customs to secure incoming materials.

Who are you?

We see that you have extensive experience in warehouse operations and have very good truck skills with both reach and counterbalance trucks; in other words, you need to have a B driver's license and a truck license. If you have experience working with customs handling, this is highly meritorious. You need to have very good computer skills and be quick to learn different systems as we work in several systems daily.

You need to have a completed high school diploma and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing; we also see that you feel comfortable with the English language in both speech and writing.
