Waiter/Waitress at Scandic Star Lund

At Scandic Star Lund, in the heart of Skåne, we have created our own piazza inspired by the local market square. We are one of southern Sweden's premier meeting venues with conference facilities for over 400 people in our own theater and space for 450 dinner guests in the banquet hall.

Those of us working at the hotel are a lovely group with a strong sense of community. We look out for each other, help where needed, and see development as a natural part of our work. A good atmosphere among our employees is crucial for providing our guests with a world-class hotel experience.

Now we are looking for one or more Waiters/Waitresses for Scandic Star Lund.

What does the role of a waiter/waitress involve?

As a waiter/waitress working in the serving area, you are the first person the guest meets in our restaurant, so it is crucial that you have a warm welcome and pay attention to details and the guest's needs. You have a keen interest in food and drink and appreciate orderliness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be serving food and drinks and managing your own cash register. Additionally, you will support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. Since the work largely involves communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is essential. Speaking an additional language is a plus.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and team-oriented player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and overall results. It is also important that you can convey a good host attitude to the hotel's guests.
