Driven problem solver with technical expertise wanted!

We are looking for a Senior IT Technician to drive development and ensure efficient management of our IT environment. You will lead technical initiatives, design and implement technical solutions, automate processes, solve technical problems, and integrate systems.

The Opera is facing an exciting time with many new initiatives where IT becomes a central carrier and enabler, e.g. upgrading to Windows 11, modernizing the data center, procuring new systems, and initiatives to increase productivity and IT security. Furthermore, the Opera House will undergo extensive renovation and in the meantime, we are moving out. Our stage is located in Gasklockan but the organization is likely to spread geographically. The digital tools are a key requirement for holding the business and organization together, consisting of approximately 900 IT users.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the IT environment in M365, Intune, and other IT infrastructure, including architecture work, advanced configuration, and service integration.
• Create and maintain scripts and automation with Powershell to streamline IT processes.
• Provide support and perform advanced troubleshooting in Microsoft environments.
• Lead and carry out migrations, upgrades, and implementations of IT systems.
• Monitor and analyze performance in the IT environment to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and document technical routines and processes.
• Conduct technical evaluations and drive innovation within the IT environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintaining IT infrastructure and supporting users, as well as collaborating with external vendors to ensure the delivery of IT services.
• Relevant education in IT or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in IT, in roles such as IT technicians or equivalent, with a focus on advanced technical competence and problem-solving.
• At least 2 years of experience in advanced administration of Microsoft 365 environments for organizations with over 100 users.
• Solid knowledge of Powershell scripting and automation.
• Experience working with client environments and client management tools such as Intune.
• Good knowledge of Entra ID and Power Automate as well as a basic understanding of Azure services focusing on IaaS.
• Advanced understanding of network services, IT security, and troubleshooting.
• Good documentation skills for technical and user-oriented materials.

Desirable:

• Certifications in Microsoft
• Experience with hybrid environments with both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
