In your role as a Senior Accounting Specialist at Greenstep, you will work on versatile and challenging financial management tasks, mainly with our largest Finnish, Swedish, and international clients. Your job description includes monthly accounting, preparation and reporting of financial statements and tax declarations, but also consulting our clients and streamlining their financial management processes. Your area of work may also include tasks related to systems, such as implementation projects and system changes or participation in acquisitions and internal accounting tasks.

What do we expect from our next team member?

• Relevant education, (e.g., tradenom, ekonom). We also appreciate completed EBR exams.
• At least 5 years of solid work experience in accounting from an in-house or consulting role (in a multi-client environment) and experience in independently preparing annual financial statements.
• The work requires fluent knowledge of Swedish and English. Good knowledge of Finnish is considered a merit.
• Experience in electronic financial management processes and systems. Experience in using Netvisor, Fortnox, Procountor, NetSuite, or Business Central systems is an advantage.

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, we expect a high level of knowledge in accounting, financial statements, and taxation. We also expect you to have the ability to provide independent solutions even in challenging situations and the ability to consult our clients on accounting and the development of their financial management processes.
