About the company ST Airborne Systems is a global player in airborne surveillance systems for maritime purposes. The systems are used for important missions such as protecting natural resources, supporting search and rescue operations, combating smuggling and piracy, as well as monitoring the environment, for example by detecting oil spills.

At ST Airborne Systems, you will:

• Be a strategic partner to the CEO with significant influence over the company's development.

Your role As CFO at ST Airborne Systems, you are responsible for building and developing the company's finance function while playing a central role in driving growth and attracting capital. The role combines strategic and operational work, focusing on financial management, analysis, and process improvement. You work closely with the CEO and are part of the management team to ensure that the company's financial governance supports the business goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Establish and improve routines for project accounting, balance sheets, and internal control in collaboration with our partner Grant Thornton.
• Create and develop financial models, in-depth analyses (cost centers, project analyses), and decision support that drive profitability and growth.
• Be responsible for liquidity forecasts, year-end closings, and financial reporting to owners and the board.
• Improve processes for inventory management, work-in-progress, and depreciation to strengthen financial control.
• Further develop business models, such as customer financing solutions (e.g., leasing), and manage currency management and hedging.
• Build strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and external partners to ensure long-term financial stability.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a business economist or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or similar roles.
• Is confident in accounting but focused on developing and improving finance functions.
• Is comfortable presenting financial information and building trust in investor dialogues.
• Is business-minded, strategic, and operational with a strong drive to contribute to growth.
• Sees the role as an opportunity to grow with the company in an expansion phase.
• Is fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Experience from a previous managerial role is a merit. To thrive at ST Airborne and in this role, you are social, development-oriented, and driven by a desire to grow together with the company.
