Procurement Specialist for Energy Company in the Public Sector

We are looking for an experienced procurement specialist for a significant assignment in 2025. Our client, an energy company in the public sector, needs to strengthen its procurement team to meet future needs and develop its operations.

As a procurement specialist, you will:

Plan and conduct procurements in close collaboration with the business representatives.
Manage contract extensions and ensure compliance with agreements.
Provide support and advice to the organization's requisitioners.
Mainly work according to LOU (the Public Procurement Act in the Utilities Sector) using the procurement tool TendSign.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant post-secondary education in economics, procurement, purchasing, or equivalent.
Experience in public procurement (meritorious).
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good knowledge of Excel.

Personal qualities:

Structured and solution-oriented.
Team player with good collaboration skills.

Other requirements:

A confidentiality agreement must be signed before employment.
Security clearance may be required as many procurements involve classified activities.
The work is mainly carried out on-site in Växjö, during daytime, and offers you the opportunity to work in an inspiring and energizing environment.
The position is full-time and until – 2025-12-31.

Qualifications

Competence requirements:

University education or equivalent in the relevant field and at least six (6) months of work experience in a similar role.
Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
