Job Description

We are looking for a guide to lead our tourists on safari trains.

Your tasks include getting to know the animals, ticket control, distributing branches to train passengers, driving the train while guiding, and cleaning the train cars. As a guide, it is important that you are social and outgoing with good communication skills and a willingness to cooperate. Additionally, a good storytelling voice is required, meaning articulation and clarity that people generally enjoy listening to. Fluent English and Swedish are a must. German is not required but definitely a big plus.

In addition to interacting with the moose, the guide's tasks also include distributing branches to tourists so they can feed the moose (e.g., birch, rowan, aspen, willow, or fireweed), and you need to be free from allergies to pollen and fur animals.

Before you start working with us, you need to memorize the text that all our guides must know; this can be considered as unpaid homework. When you start working with us, the first two weeks will be a learning period with a special schedule, where you will practice driving and guiding the train together with a mentor, as well as getting fluent in other tasks.

Working Hours

Part-time approximately 75% Scheduled working hours.

The working hours are during the day, weekdays and weekends in a rolling schedule where you work 3 days, have 3 days off, work 3 days, have 3 days off, etc.

The employment period is from June 2 to August 31.
