Security Guard at Securus in Central Stockholm

Right now, we are looking for security guards at Securus for assignments in central Stockholm. For this position, attention to detail, good social skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues to create a safe environment for staff and visitors while maintaining a high level of security around the protected area are required. It is a plus if you have work experience from a control room environment.

In this role, we are responsible for staffing the authority's receptions and control room. The reception is staffed during daytime on weekdays, and the control room is staffed in the evenings, nights, and weekends. The assignment includes receiving and handling alarms, camera surveillance, and patrol duties. The position is a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period. We need staff who can work full-time/part-time or on an on-call basis.

Qualifications for the Position

We are looking for an experienced security guard. As Securus is a security-classified company that largely works with public authorities, a security screening with a background check is conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

For this position, Swedish citizenship and fluent proficiency in Swedish both verbally and in writing are required. You also need to be able to speak and understand English. It is crucial that you can handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and professional attitude.

We expect our security guards to be in good physical condition to handle the demanding situations that may arise in the role.

It is advantageous if you have experience in handling control room desks for gate operation and alarm handling, as well as surveillance with cameras. It is also beneficial if you are authorized to carry a weapon.
