About the Hotel

Scandic Visby is ideally located to explore the medieval town or venture out into the countryside by car. A lovely hotel with a resort feel, where the rooms are divided into different buildings. Our restaurant is open year-round serving breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening, with menus tailored to the season. During the summer, we open our delightful outdoor terrace with a pool, and for those who wish to swim year-round, we offer the warm jacuzzi under the open sky.

What Does the Role of Breakfast Host/Hostess Entail?

Your main role is to work in the operation, ensuring that our breakfast guests receive service, a friendly welcome, and a fantastic breakfast experience! The role includes simple cooking, preparation, serving, and keeping order in the kitchen and common areas. You ensure that dishwashing, cleaning, and self-monitoring run smoothly and in accordance with food policies, concepts, and manuals.

Who Are You?

To fit into the role, we prefer that you have experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. However, your personal qualities and attitude are most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests. It is a plus if you have some form of Hotel and Restaurant education.

Information About the Position:

The position is a seasonal employment and can range from 15-25 hours per week. It may suit those who want to work fewer hours, mainly in the mornings. We are open every day, so you should be able to work both weekdays and weekends.
