About the Hotel

Scandic Visby is located in the best starting point to explore the medieval city or venture out into the countryside by car. A lovely hotel with a resort feel, where the rooms are divided into different buildings. Our restaurant is open year-round where we serve breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening, with menus that are adapted according to the season. During the summer, we open our lovely outdoor terrace with an outdoor pool, and for those who want to swim all year round, we offer the warm jacuzzi under the open sky.

What does the role of Breakfast Host/Hostess entail?

Your main role is to work in the operation, ensuring that our breakfast guests receive service, a friendly welcome, and a fantastic breakfast experience! The role includes simple cooking, preparation, serving, and keeping order in the kitchen and common areas. You ensure that dishwashing, cleaning, and self-control run smoothly and in accordance with food policies, concepts, and manuals.

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we prefer that you have experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. However, your personal qualities and attitude are most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests. It is a merit if you have some form of Hotel and Restaurant education.

Information about the position:

The position is a seasonal employment and can be between 15-25 hours/week. It may suit those who want to work fewer hours and mainly in the mornings. We are open every day, so you should be able to work both weekdays and weekends.
