About the role

At Rågården, there are several inpatient units that care for forensic psychiatric patients, one of which cares for remanded, detained, and prison-sentenced patients in need of acute psychiatric care. In addition, there is an activity house and an outpatient clinic at Rågården that follows up on patients after discharge from inpatient care.

Responsibilities

As a specialist doctor in Forensic Psychiatry, you work long-term with individualized care and follow the patient through the entire rehabilitation process. Tasks include treating and rehabilitating patients with extensive psychiatric problems such as psychosis often with comorbidities like ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and substance abuse.

About you

We are looking for a licensed physician with completed specialist training in psychiatry or in the final stages of your specialist training. You have the ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you are calm and confident in your role as a doctor and have a genuine interest in research. You are structured, flexible, and have a knack for collaboration. You have the ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external partners. Personal suitability is of great importance.
