About the Organization

Radiology Sahlgrenska, with over 500 employees, is one of Sweden's largest radiology clinics. The operations are located in several sections at Sahlgrenska, Östra, and Mölndal hospitals, but are part of a common operational area to promote collaboration. We are at the forefront of new radiological techniques and actively conduct research and development in several fields.

The operations are an important part of the care chain, meaning you will meet many different patients from various operations and flows throughout the hospital. The operations are high-tech and constantly evolving to better meet today's and future challenges.

Responsibilities

Our training program for ST physicians covers all the goals set by the National Board of Health and Welfare through clearly designated clinical placements and ongoing internal and external education. You will rotate between the different sections during your ST. We have a 24/7 operation with on-call duties at all hospital sites, where you as an ST physician will play a crucial role. The ST also includes 2-3 months of training at another hospital than Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

About You

Are you licensed or in the final stages of your AT and have an interest in image interpretation and technology? Do you want to contribute to a learning environment and continuous development of the operations? Do you enjoy working at a large hospital, providing highly specialized care? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Previous experience in radiology or specialties working closely with diagnostics is advantageous but not required. We also value previous experience in research, development and quality work, technical skills, pedagogical merits, and leadership. Personal suitability will be of great importance. Your ST will, in consultation with you, be focused on one or a couple of subspecializations.
