In the autumn of 2025, we are launching Entréskolan in Uppsala. Therefore, we are looking for committed and driven teachers in all subjects, preferably with an aesthetic subject (dance, theater, art, crafts, music) for teaching in grades 7-9. Are you interested in being part of starting up the operations at Entréskolan in Uppsala and developing our students' knowledge through inspiring and creative lessons in collaboration with other subjects? Then you are the person we are looking for.

Aesthetic primary school grades 4-9

Entréskolan is an aesthetic primary school for grades 4-9 with a profile of active learning through creative expression based on aesthetic forms in subject-integrated work areas. Entréskolan is also located in Västerås, Stockholm, Enköping, Eskilstuna, and Örebro. We offer four aesthetic profiles; theater, music, dance, and art. Admission to each profile is based on skills tests.

Entréskolan is characterized by a cross-disciplinary approach in various work areas where theoretical subjects are integrated with the aesthetic subjects. We work to ensure that each student is involved and active in their learning. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Entréskolan. As a teacher with us, you are an important part of this work.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with students in middle school. At Entréskolan, the school year is divided into subject-integrated work areas where parts of the teaching are planned together by the teachers. Therefore, as a teacher at Entréskolan, it is important that you enjoy a role where collaboration is a central part. We prefer that you have good IT skills as a large part of the work is done using digital tools. All students in the class have access to their own computer used in school. As a person, you thrive in a role where you have a great deal of personal responsibility and are given space to take many initiatives but also can listen and collaborate with others. You are creative and welcome new ideas and approaches. It is a plus if you have an interest or experience in any aesthetic form of expression.

We are looking for someone who:

- is interested in working with subject integration and various aesthetic forms of expression

- is computer literate and has the desire/experience to work with the computer as a tool in educational work

- Has a positive view of all students' ability to succeed

- has a high level of commitment and is driven and proactive

- has a great ability to communicate with students and parents in a solution-focused manner.

Education

You have relevant education and experience. Personal suitability and willingness to work with subject integration in creative learning are highly valued.

Salary, compensation, and benefits

Collective agreement - between Almega and the trade unions Lärarförbundet, Lärarnas riksförbund, kommunal, and Unionen.

Occupational pension (ITP agreement) TGL, Group life insurance, Security insurance, TFA, Transition agreement SAF-PTK, Wellness grant

The position can be adjusted between part-time and full-time depending on personal preferences.
