Geriatrics and Infection

Do you want to work as a nursing assistant with the exciting mix of infection and pulmonary medicine as well as Geriatric care? The geriatrics department has 14 beds, divided between these two different care focuses.

We are a team with broad expertise, a good atmosphere, and a positive attitude! Here, we work with continuous improvements. You contribute as part of the team to the change work and development of the care department. Our values are based on participation, trust, and care. Patient safety is something we work with continuously. We have internal training regularly every week.

Your responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you work with patient care, which means you assess patients, interpret their needs, and implement care measures in consultation with the nurse and the patient.

In the geriatrics department, you have a varied and responsible job. Sometimes you need to act quickly, and sometimes it is a patient or relative who needs more time.

As a nursing assistant, you have close collaboration with nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists regarding your patients. Modern healthcare requires us to collaborate as a well-functioning team to ensure patient safety.

Who are you?

You, who are applying, are a trained nursing assistant. Preferably with a focus on infection or geriatrics. Or are in training to become a nurse or studying to be a doctor and looking for summer work.

Experience working in a geriatric or infection ward is a merit.

With an empathetic approach, you see the whole patient and their needs. You can quickly adapt to changing conditions and adjust your work approach based on the situation.

Personal suitability is of great importance.

Prior to employment decisions, a background check is conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
