Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is committed and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done, but since the man speaks for himself, it is important to be attentive and accommodating. The man moves around in a wheelchair, and you will therefore need to assist with transfers and walks.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 50s living in Stånga, Gotland
• has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• has a driver's license and access to a car
• does not have a pet allergy as there is a cat in the client's home

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is at 55%. The job involves day shifts from 07:30 to 08:00, of which 6 hours are on-call between 00:00 and 06:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

February 1 oraccording to agreement. Shadowing can begin immediately.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
