Geriatrics and Infection

Do you want to work as a nurse with the exciting mix of infection and pulmonary medicine as well as geriatric care? The geriatrics department has 14 beds, divided between these two different care focuses.

We are a team with broad expertise, good atmosphere, and a positive attitude! Here, we work on continuous improvements. You contribute as part of the team to the process of change and development of the care department. Our values are based on participation, trust, and compassion. Patient safety is something we work on continuously. We have internal training regularly every week.

Your responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for the care of patients, which means making qualified assessments, interpreting patients' needs, and implementing care measures in consultation with the patient. Since October 7, we have been working with PAS, the patient's responsible nurse.

In the geriatrics department, you have a varied and responsible job. Sometimes you need to act quickly, and sometimes a patient or relative needs more time.

As a nurse, you have a close collaboration with nursing assistants, doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists regarding your patients. Modern healthcare requires us to collaborate as a well-functioning team to ensure patient safety.

Who are you?

You, who are applying, are a licensed nurse.

Experience working in an infectious diseases department and/or geriatric department is a plus, as is having specialized training.

Prior to a decision on employment, a background check is conducted through an extract from the criminal records register.
