Oncology and Palliative Medicine

Visby Hospital has a broad healthcare mission and provides Gotland with acute and elective specialist care.

The oncology department includes outpatient oncology care, day care, inpatient care, and specialized palliative care at home for adults. We have close collaboration with several specialties and also close cooperation with mainland hospitals, especially Karolinska University Hospital.

Your Responsibilities

ST position in oncology according to the goal description from the Swedish Oncology Society. An educational plan will be established, and you will be assigned a supervisor. Rotational training on the mainland for two to three years will be relevant. On-call duties are included.

Who Are You?

We see that you who apply are a licensed physician. Previous service in the oncology unit in Visby is an advantage. You master the Swedish language fluently in both spoken and written form. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
