Job Opening: Experienced Alarm/Security Operator

We are looking for an experienced Alarm/Security Operator for a government agency. The mission of the Security Center is to monitor the agency's offices and facilities through alarms, camera surveillance, and manual surveillance with the help of security personnel. It is intended to support the agency's needs for protection and security and uses both technical security systems and manual supervision for this purpose.

The assignment is staffed by personnel from the agency and security contractors around the clock. The assignment involves handling everything from incoming technical alarms, surveillance via camera systems, to leading the security contractor in their daily work. Managing supplier contacts for various actions. In case of incidents, coordination and support to other functions with decision support in the form of situation reports, and more. Administration and information management about the agency's facilities and offices in intrusion detection systems and access control administration in security systems for access restriction (access control systems) is done in collaboration with access administrators.

The operator will handle radio and telephone calls to ensure the operational function of the security center.

Salary: approx. 35,000 SEK/month

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Security/Alarm Operator, the following tasks will mainly be included:

Receive, register, and handle incoming cases, error reports, and alarms, and if necessary, dispatch the right expertise for troubleshooting
Surveillance and patrolling via camera systems
Lead and support the security contractor in daily work
Manage and administer orders for security tasks
Ensure the operational function regarding access control
Administer a part of the access applications.
Handle the issuance of access cards

Your Profile

At least 5 years of work experience in a security, alarm, or control center.

At least 5 years of work experience in security and security protection.

At least 5 years of work experience with the most common alarm/access control/camera surveillance systems on the market and MS Office products.

At least 2 years of work experience in working with technical support systems for alarms, access, and camera surveillance

At least 2 years of work experience in working with radio/telecommunication systems or equivalent systems/equipment.

A security clearance for consultants is required as the consultant will handle classified information.
