Social Worker for Individual and Family Care in Strömsund

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Children and Family department is organized into reception, investigation and enforcement, and family law. There is close collaboration between the different parts with a common coordinator providing direct support in client work. As a social worker with us, you will mainly investigate, decide, and follow up on granted interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and in some cases the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). You will also collaborate with external contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. You express yourself well in speech and writing, have good knowledge of legislation, and can work independently within the framework of official duties. It is a merit if you have previous experience in handling social services official duties, as well as knowledge and experience of working with BBiC (Children's Needs in Focus) and Procapita/Lifecare.

In the role of a social worker, you should be confident in your professional role and be able to meet people in need of social services support and help in a clear and trustworthy manner. This work suits you if you are humble, empathetic, and clear in your approach. You are good at collaborating with both colleagues and the organization's partners. You also have the ability to work independently. This work suits you if you place great importance on how you interact with those who need our support.

You have a driver's license B.
