About us

Capio Vårdcentral Viksjö is located in bright, fresh premises in Viksjö center, northwest of Stockholm. You can easily reach us by public transportation, which runs frequently and takes no more than 30 minutes from Stockholm Central. Additionally, there are plenty of parking options if you arrive by car. We have over 30 dedicated employees working together to take care of our approximately 10,200 listed patients.

At the clinic, there are several nurse-led specialist clinics such as diabetes clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, hypertension clinic, as well as a psychologist, physiotherapist, and rehabilitation coordinator. We have our own laboratory and home care services.

Your role

Working at our medical center involves investigation and treatment of patients at the clinic and in home care, both individually and as part of a team. You are an important part of the development of the operation and contribute to driving the clinic's work forward. As a general practitioner, you will also be responsible for supervising our junior doctors.

Patient work is carried out in interdisciplinary teams where we collaborate based on the patient's needs. The way of working is well established, and good cooperation between the professions is of great importance to us. We have made significant progress on our digitalization journey, which we have noticed benefits both patients and employees. This practically means that alongside physical visits, we work with chat and video consultations.

As a doctor with us, you are responsible, among other things, for our home care patients, currently consisting of approximately 110 enrolled patients.

About you

Specialist in general medicine or geriatrician who wants to be part of developing our Home Care services

Doctor with specialist competence in geriatrics or general medicine with interest and experience in Licensed care of the elderly. Experience in primary care, nursing homes, home care, ASIH, geriatrics, or palliative care is advantageous. You are interested in being part of developing the care of elderly and chronically ill patients.

You are interested in quality work as this is a major focus area within Capio Primary Care, and like us, you are interested in creating good and long-lasting patient relationships, providing high quality in care and treatment, contributing to high accessibility, and to a positive and developing work environment.

We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, be adept at communicating and building relationships. You need to be flexible, a good communicator, and have good teamwork skills as we place great emphasis on teamwork. Having a professional approach and good customer service is essential.

You are confident in your professional role, enjoy challenges, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. We place great value on independence, participation, and commitment.
