Primary care consists of 21 publicly operated health centers, 1177 healthcare guide, as well as family health services and A Way In for children and young people with mental health problems. Our mission is to create good conditions for our patients, ensuring that the residents of Kronoberg receive the right care and treatment from the best possible expertise, in a timely manner and at the right level of care.

Vårdcentralen Centrum is a workplace located in the heart of Växjö with over 9,000 listed patients. At our center, the patient is at the center and we always do our best to provide our patients with quality care and make them feel safe and confident through good treatment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The work of a district nurse/nurse at a health center involves following patients throughout their lives. You meet patients of all ages and life situations, some of whom we see very rarely and others more regularly. We work from both a health-promoting and disease-preventing perspective, as well as with acute symptoms. As you can understand, the work at the health center is varied, fun, and rewarding!

Responsibilities include reception work, consultations with patients via phone/video appointments, and scheduling appointments via TeleQ. If you are interested, there are good opportunities in the future to specialize in some of our specialist clinics based on your skills, experience, and interests.

As a district nurse/nurse in primary care, you also contribute your expertise at our emergency medical center in Växjö during certain periods. We are there for our citizens on weekends and weekdays after 5 p.m. Many of us share this responsibility, and if it becomes relevant for you, you will receive a special introduction to feel secure.
