Primary care consists of 21 publicly run health centers, 1177 healthcare guide, as well as family health and A way in for children and adolescents with mental health issues. Our mission is to create good conditions for our patients, so that the residents of Kronoberg receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence at the right time and at the right level of care.

We are now looking for an engaged and driven diabetes nurse to strengthen our team at the Skärvet Health Center!

The Skärvet Health Center is centrally located in Växjö and has about 13,000 registered patients, making it the largest health center in Region Kronoberg. Here, patients receive care and treatment throughout their lives, and we have several specialist clinics.

Our wonderful team consists of district and registered nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, district and training doctors, foot care therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care coordinators, rehabilitation coordinators, psychosocial resources, service hosts, and department heads. We also take pride in being an academic health center and contribute through various studies to new knowledge in healthcare.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a diabetes nurse with us, you will work from a health-promoting and disease-preventive perspective, but also in acute situations. You will meet patients of all ages, in different life situations, which means a fun and varied job. The tasks include independent reception work, assessment reception, and telephone advice. As an employee in primary care, you will also have shifts at the emergency medical center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained diabetes nurse, preferably with a few years of experience in primary care.

With us, you will have the opportunity to take your own initiatives and be part of developing primary care in the future. You need to enjoy working independently, but also have the ability to collaborate with all staff in the interdisciplinary team. We place great importance on personal suitability. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills are necessary.
