Position Offers

The Swedish Armed Forces' Technical and Maintenance Office Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking two Export Control Officers. We are in the midst of an exciting journey where we are growing and need more personnel. We are looking for two Export Control Officers to ensure that export control within combat logistics is adapted and executed according to applicable laws and regulations.

About the Unit

TVK Log operates at a central level and is an important part of logistics management within the Swedish Armed Forces. We are responsible for ensuring that logistics materials are available and meet the needs of the units. Two success factors in our missions are collaboration and expertise.

The unit is divided into five departments and currently consists of about 100 employees, mainly civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. Management is based in Boden, but we have operations in several locations across Sweden.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of Export Control Officer, you will drive various processes and continuously work to develop operations within the area of export control. You will ensure that all necessary permits and documentation are obtained in a timely manner and provide support during applications. You will assist combat logistics in classification work and environmental monitoring and identify and conduct export risk assessments.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • University or college education in engineering, logistics, or law, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Documented, multi-year experience working with export control issues within larger companies or government agencies
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
  • Driving license B.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills while being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, driven, and take your own initiatives. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see connections. You are communicative and pedagogical and are skilled at expressing yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English. You will have significant personal responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

  • Certified Export Control Manager through the Swedish Export Control Society
  • Good knowledge of the export control area in Sweden and internationally
  • Documented work experience in conducting analyses, reporting, and data follow-up
  • Experience working within the Swedish Armed Forces.

Additional Information

The position constitutes a permanent full-time civilian employment. A six-month probationary period may apply for those who are not already permanently employed within the Swedish Armed Forces.

Work location: Arboga or Boden

Travel in the service may occur.

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
