Personal Assistant Wanted!

Hello!

I am a 21-year-old girl currently looking for someone to work as my personal assistant!

You will be employed by my assistance company Vivida Assistans, but the actual work will be performed where I am, for example at home in my apartment or at KTH where I study.

ABOUT ME

I live in central Stockholm and am in my second year of the engineering program in computer science. I have a muscle disease called nemaline myopathy, which is a form of muscle weakness—therefore I need your help with most physical tasks such as transfers, dressing, showering, and more. The apartment is a student apartment located near Stadion, so there are good transportation options in the form of both bus and subway. An assistance center with a bed is also available in the apartment.

In my spare time, I spend a lot of time on my studies, but sometimes I also like to train at the gym, and I need your active help then. I also need help with various household chores, etc.

The job can vary from day to day, and it is important that you as a person are flexible in your approach. It is also important that you are a good listener and can respect my privacy as I explain what I need help with.

WHO AM I LOOKING FOR?

• Are you a flexible person who can work calmly and methodically? Then this could be a job for you!
• The work involves some lifting, so it is important that you are fairly strong and in good physical shape. If you have experience working as a personal assistant, that is certainly a plus, but the most important thing is your personality and that we can build mutual trust.
• It is a plus if you have a driver's license, but it is not a requirement.
• I am a girl and would therefore prefer you to be one as well. It is a plus if you are between 20–35 years old.
• I have a cat that stays with me sometimes, so it is good if you are not allergic.

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT GRADES

I am looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute during the spring and summer, with good chances of a permanent position of about 40% in the fall.

If you have another commitment that you plan to combine with this job, please mention in your application which days and times you are already booked.

The work will include daytime, evening, and night shifts. There will be waiting time, called on-call duty, at night. This means that you will sleep at the workplace and be available when I need help.

YOUR SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant will receive a fixed base salary per hour + holiday pay and any additional compensation. A collective agreement exists.
