About the position We are currently seeking personal assistants in Stockholm and surrounding areas for the summer of 2025. As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our clients. You become an important part of their lives and contribute to their independence and well-being.

About you

To thrive in the role of a personal assistant, you are someone who enjoys working with people and can see to others' needs. As a person, you are attentive, responsible, flexible, and a good team player. We place great importance on personal qualities and suitability for the role related to matching with the client, and the most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as a candidate and the client.

If we find your profile interesting and see a potential match between you and one of our clients, you will be invited to a physical or digital recruitment day. It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in care and support, particularly in personal assistance. 

What does a typical day look like?

It varies! All our clients are unique. Routines and activities may differ depending on whom you are working with. The tasks are varied but mainly consist of working in the client's home, as well as accompanying the client on various activities and errands. Some examples of tasks include assisting with personal care, medication management, daily chores, shopping, cooking, and activities. The work as a personal assistant is generally a solitary job, although double staffing may occur in some cases. You are there for the client when they live their life based on their circumstances. Lifting may also occur during transfers, depending on each client's needs (if needed, aids are also available on-site). A position with one of our clients may also involve the opportunity to work at different times of the day. It is desirable that you as a candidate can work day and evening hours and/or nights, on both weekdays and weekends.  Scope: Varying employment levels based on each assignment's needs. In case of employment For employment with us at Nordström Assistans you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting an employment with us is that you as a candidate can present valid identification and/or submit a personal certificate and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. 

If you want to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record.
