Next to the Roslagsbanan north of Vallentuna is Unika Lindholmen's group home. We are located close to nature in a calm environment. Here, there are 6 apartments for people within the scope of LSS. We are now looking for more substitutes for the summer with a chance for permanent employment at about 75%!  

With us, we work day/evening and night shifts with sleeping on-call duty. We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, has the courage to work alone, and has the ability to be solution-oriented with good initiative! 

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we focus on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
• Experience in care and support work.
• High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
• Worked with complex support needs.

Employment type: Substitute with a chance for permanent employment Working hours: Substitute Working time: day/evening and weekends, night shifts with sleeping on-call duty Start date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start shortly. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
