The Employment and Adult Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's labor market measures, daily activities, adult education, and issues related to higher education, such as vocational training and other post-secondary education. Our goal is to provide the residents of Botkyrka with good opportunities to engage in studies, work, and employment. We are 330 employees working to enable more citizens to achieve self-sufficiency.

The Position and Responsibilities

Daily activities in Botkyrka Municipality offer meaningful and stimulating employment based on each individual's conditions according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).

We are now looking for creative and relationship-building support assistants/work supervisors for Kvarnhagen's daily activities who have a strong commitment to ensuring a high quality of life for our participants.

Your main responsibilities include guiding and supporting the participants of the activities, as well as designing meaningful activities such as gardening, crafting, baking, movement, etc. The role also includes creating and adapting activities and tasks based on each individual's abilities, strengths, and support needs. You will document and establish implementation plans for participants in our documentation system Lifecare.

Who We Are Looking For

Requirements:

• High school education in health and care programs or child and leisure programs, alternatively GPU and PPU.
• Knowledge and experience of working with the target group under LSS both individually and in groups.
• Good computer skills and a strong ability to handle digital tools.
• Good knowledge of and experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, autism, NPF diagnoses, and mental health issues.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with visually clarifying pedagogy and communication support, AAC (alternative communication).
• Experience in managing challenging behavior.

To thrive in this role, we are looking for someone who is good at finding creative solutions to problems and has the ability to plan, implement, and follow up on both projects and ongoing activities. You are confident in yourself and have a good ability to listen to others.

In this role, you are expected to often work independently with a group of participants. Therefore, it is important that you are confident and have the ability to create good relationships and collaborate effectively with both participants, their networks, colleagues, and other partners within the municipality.
