Team Lead for the Painting Department at Saab Aeronautics

Your Role

We are looking for an initiative-taking Team Lead for the painting department at Saab Aeronautics! As Team Lead, you will play an important role in proactively identifying and addressing issues in production. You will be present in daily operations and serve as a link between the team and management - responsible for overseeing and coordinating work moving forward. You contribute to strengthening the team's skills, cohesion, and engagement.

In this role, you will coordinate and support both the production team and the section manager on matters related to daily operations and continuous improvements. You will also be involved in operational work and be close to the team in their daily tasks. This is a leading role without formal personnel or work environment responsibility, but with significant influence on the group's development and performance.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Support during disruptions, error cases, and ANDON investigations
• Distribute tasks within the team
• Train and coach employees to ensure basic competencies
• Ensure that standardized working methods are followed and continuously improved
• Drive and develop the team's 5S and improvement work together with the immediate manager
• Participate in production planning in close collaboration with the manager and planner

The workplace is Tannefors Linköping and the work will be on a 2-shift schedule.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who wants to be a driving force in the team's development and success. You are responsible, curious, and have a natural drive in your work. To thrive in this role, we believe you are communicative, collaborative, and have a good structure in your way of working. Previous experience in leadership or similar work in the industry is an advantage.

Other Requirements for the Position:

• Good computer skills, knowledge of ERP is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, citizenship may be required in certain cases.
