Specialist Psychiatric Clinic 7, S:t Eriksplan is part of the Northern Stockholm Psychiatry, NSP.

We work based on a general psychiatric mission with a special focus on receiving patients with personality syndromes.

A large part of the patients we meet thus have psychiatric problems related to personality and trauma, in the form of developed PTSD, but also with other clinical presentations. A significant part of the care planning includes psychological treatment. It is valuable if you considering the position are interested in this as part of the medical approach in the work.

The clinic took its current form in 2016 and operates with two treatment teams where you as a doctor work together with psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, counselors, and caregivers.

The tasks of the medical group at the unit include diagnosing, investigating, and treating in accordance with evidence and national guidelines. The assessment work includes delineating what belongs to psychiatric specialist care versus first-line psychiatry/primary care. The tasks are varied. We collaborate with both internal and external healthcare providers, social services, and the Social Insurance Agency.

NSP is an educational clinic and the tasks for a senior physician also include supervision and teaching of medical students, junior doctors, and resident physicians.

Qualifications

has knowledge of and preferably experience in neuropsychiatric assessment
