Your opportunity:
Join our dynamic accounting services team as an Accounting Systems Manager, where you will play a crucial role in being a system coordinator between accounting, business and IT, that is governing, overseeing, and developing our accounting-related IT systems. This is your chance, as a highly motivated professional, to improve and harmonize accounting processes, to ensure and enable the efficient performance of system processes, and to interact with internal clients to provide a high level customer satisfaction for the system users. Effective execution of these processes is essential for reporting of correct financial information. This is a fulltime role with location at Boliden in Sweden.
Who you will work with:
You will collaborate closely with accounting, other support functions, business and IT, ensuring and developing seamless accounting processes which align with internal control and business needs.
What you will do:
- Govern, control, and develop accounting-related IT systems
- System coordinator for Microsoft Dynamics D365
- Support system users
- Manage change process and prioritize change requests
- Manage system access, user policies, and access rights
- Perform and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Close coordination and interaction with other functions (procurement, payroll, maintenance, etc.) to enhance system interaction
- Be responsible for system development budget and costs
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or information systems
- Strong competence, experience (>5 years), in accounting and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- ERP system and governance/administration experience (especially the accounting and financial modules) – Understanding of financial system value stream
- Experience in process management and eagerness to streamline workflows
- Experience in working in an international environment
- Experience in project management (optional but beneficial)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with accounting, business and IT
- Professional written and spoken English
- Process oriented and ability to manage complex systems as well as details
- Development focused mind-set with curiosity and eagerness to follow the common development of finance processes
- Critical thinking with a passion for organizing and problem solving
- A hands-on, detail-orientated attitude
- High level of integrity and accountability with results-orientation
- Management and leadership skills
