Mission and Purpose of the Role
The Property Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, planning, and following up on property-related issues within the organization, with a particular focus on long-term maintenance, local supply, energy efficiency, working environment, fire protection, and regulatory requirements. The role is central to the collaboration between the operations and the property owner to ensure functional, cost-effective, and safe premises.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintenance Planning: Develop, update, and follow up on a long-term maintenance plan for the property portfolio in close collaboration with project managers and operational managers.
- Local Supply Plan: Maintain a continuous dialogue with the organization's operations to understand needs, analyze space utilization, and establish a strategic local supply plan that supports the organization's goals.
- Energy Efficiency: Follow up, analyze, and report on the results of energy efficiency measures. Collaborate with energy coordinators, project managers, and suppliers to identify new improvement opportunities.
- Systematic Work Environment Management (SAM): Ensure that there is a clear structure, documentation, and follow-up of work environment management related to properties and premises in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.
- Systematic Fire Protection Work (SBA): Ensure that systematic fire protection work is carried out in accordance with applicable requirements. This includes documentation, follow-up, training, and coordination with the operations and property owner.
- Regulatory Requirements and Inspections: Ensure that statutory regulatory requirements are met and that necessary inspections, controls, and supervision are carried out on time and documented correctly.
- Client Representative: Act as a client representative towards the housing company and ensure that the content of the management agreement is followed. This includes follow-up, deviation management, and development of the collaboration.
Qualifications
We prefer that you have a post-secondary education focused on property management or have acquired equivalent competence in another way. You have worked with property management focusing on net operating income and have been responsible for budgeting and follow-up. The position requires basic knowledge of property law and LOU. You have a B driver's license.
Important Competence Requirements
- Experience in property management, preferably in the public sector.
- Good knowledge of maintenance planning, property economics, regulatory requirements, fire protection, and energy efficiency.
- Ability to engage in dialogue with both technical experts and operational representatives.
- Experience in systematic work environment management and preferably SBA.
- Good administrative skills and experience in documenting and following up processes.
- Relevant education in property management, construction, and property technology or equivalent.
Preferred
We consider it an advantage if you have experience in municipal operations and/or other politically governed organizations.

You express yourself easily in speech and writing and have the ability to understand the needs of other operations and solve difficult issues. The work involves a lot of freedom under responsibility, so you need to be responsible, self-driven, meticulous, proactive, and communicative with colleagues, managers, project leaders, and our internal and external customers. You naturally enjoy working both individually and in groups and actively contribute to a good atmosphere in the unit. You should be confident in your role and take great responsibility for your tasks. Personal suitability is highly valued.
