We develop the market's most advanced ambulances where medical personnel can both sit safely and begin emergency care right on site. Our unique chassis concept with reusable medical cabinets contributes to both sustainability and cost-effectiveness. We are 30 employees and had a turnover of 110 million in 2024.

We are now looking for a team-leading designer who wants to help shape the future of Swedish ambulance manufacturing.

About the position:

As a team-leading designer at Ambulansproduktion, you will hold a key position in an entrepreneur-driven company with great professional pride, high technical competence, and significant growth opportunities. You will have broad responsibility for the work of the engineering department and become an important link between engineering, production, customers, and management.

Your mission involves both leading and developing the team of currently three designers, while also working on design and project management yourself and helping to create structure in a flat organization.

In this role, you will have contact with internal and external stakeholders such as authorities, regions, etc. You will ensure that our vehicles meet all technical requirements, regulations, and vehicle directives. You will contribute to solutions that meet our customers' high expectations while working proactively and providing innovative solutions to improve the various functions of the ambulances.

You will be part of and actively participate in the management team, which currently consists of five people.

Who are you?

We see that you are a university engineer with several years of experience in technical roles related to design.

You are a natural leader who is clear, structured, communicative, and respectful in your way of leading and being – and you enjoy creating order, direction, and development in an environment with a lot of competence and a big heart.

You have likely led technical teams or projects before and are accustomed to navigating complex technical environments. You have the ability to see both details and the big picture, and you are not afraid to be operational and practically involved when needed. You speak the language of technology – but also of people. A person with humble self-confidence best reflects you.

You speak and write both Swedish and English fluently.

If you have experience with the CAD program Creo (formerly Pro/Engineer Wildfire), that is an advantage.
