Do you want to be a key player at a company with the highest ambitions in the product area of Wire in advanced stainless alloys? As a CI Engineer at ZAPP, you own the production process in your part of the factory and are the expert support to the Production Manager, Flow Manager, and Flow Management on how the products are manufactured. Based on deep and fact-based knowledge, you are the one who develops improvements together with production and ensures that they are documented and converted into standardized working methods. When problems arise with customers, you own the entire process from root cause analysis and development of improvement measures to implementation in daily work.

In recent years, the factory in Sandviken has made great strides forward, but there is still much to be done, making this a very exciting position with great opportunities for impact and personal development.

• Raise the level of root cause analysis of improvements in the production process by grounding them on a theoretical basis.
• In close collaboration with technicians, support the flow manager and flow management in the analysis and actions of operational problems in production.
• Facilitate for the Technical Team by formulating clear assignments for improvement efforts.
• Quick and effective investigation of customer issues that include both root cause analysis, solution proposals, and responses to customers.
• Support the UH organization with your knowledge of the production process to increase machine availability in the factory.
• Establish stable processes and instructions that provide operators with the conditions to minimize unnecessary and costly extra work in daily operations.

Location: You need to be residing or willing to relocate to the Gävle/Sandviken/Falun area.

You enjoy delving into technical issues and being the deep expert in the production process within your area of the factory. You have an unpretentious attitude where you help where needed and at the same time dare to seek help from deeper expertise in, for example, materials when you need it. We see that you are structured in your work approach and confident in making decisions that drive processes and issues forward.

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Technical Physics, Materials, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering or similar education.
• We believe this is your second or third step in your career and that you have 5 to 10 years of experience. We also welcome more experienced candidates who have held managerial roles but now want to deepen their expertise in production technology and improvement work.
• Documented experience in problem-solving methodology within a process industry with the ability to both theoretically and practically understand and explain a production process.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Experience in wire manufacturing or similar processes.
• Experience with Six Sigma or other problem-solving methodology tools.
• Knowledge of German.
