Job Description
We are now looking for an Inspection Technician to join our team in Iggesund. The position is 100% where inspection work and caretaker duties are included.
As an inspection technician, you will play a central role where you, together with the rest of the inspection team, are responsible for the inspection work. You own your own inspection cases and are responsible for them from start to finish.
In your role, you will conduct various types of inspections. The majority of inspections are performed in connection with terminations, where at least two inspections are carried out: pre-inspection and final inspection. If necessary, these may need to be supplemented with control inspections and re-inspections.
You will also conduct so-called maintenance inspections where an apartment is inspected during the ongoing rental period. The inspection is usually initiated by the tenant and is conducted to check if there is a need for maintenance.
As an inspection technician, you have ordering responsibility for actions related to the inspection. This means that you create and distribute actions in consultation with relevant resources, and that these are then followed up continuously until the work is completed. The goal is for the actions to be carried out quickly and smoothly with minimal impact on existing and future tenants.
When the timeline is set, the rental department is informed about the move-in date, including other important information about the rental object.
The role includes caretaker duties, which means you will be responsible for both internal and external maintenance for our customers. Tasks include minor property repairs, rounds, customer contacts, purchasing materials, gardening, snow removal, and ice prevention as needed.
You will work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you will have great freedom to solve the challenges you face in your work on your own.
During the initial period, you will undergo a training program. The training program consists of theoretical and practical parts that together will give you the best conditions for success in your new role.
During the training period, you will be relieved of your current work.
Who are you
We are looking for someone who is stimulated by a versatile role that is social and has the ability to work service-oriented, build trusting relationships since the position involves many contacts with our tenants and contribute to satisfied tenants.
You are also a person who can plan and prioritize your tasks well. You see what needs to be done, make things happen, and recognize the importance of sharing information and knowledge with your colleagues.
You need to be structured and meticulous as the work includes administrative parts such as planning, documentation, coordination, and follow-up.
To meet the tenants, you need to be attentive and empathetic while being decisive and confident in your opinions. Great importance is placed on your communication skills, where you need to clearly and pedagogically motivate your decisions.
You will be part of the inspection team and be involved in developing the inspection work within the company.
