Do you want to help shape the future of logistics in Västernorrland? We at the Regional Management Administration are now looking for a Logistics Coordinator - a role where you will have significant influence and the opportunity to make a real difference!

The assignment involves placement in the care service that works with meals and transport/logistics issues within Region Västernorrland. The position is directly subordinate to the operations manager with assignments and collaboration with unit managers within the organization, as well as coordination that spans the entire region's operational area.

This is a new position with great potential to shape working methods and implement a new logistics system. There is already a well-functioning transport operation ready to work more broadly with preparedness issues and to develop the service offering to include more services for the region's operations. This role involves working with the region's goods flows and being a cohesive resource within the purchasing process and internal logistics processes. The role entails significant influence over the future logistics within Region Västernorrland.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start. The location is in Sundsvall.

• Develop the goods flows of Region Västernorrland normally and in preparedness contexts
• Develop processes related to material supply as well as inventory management, warehouse management, ordering, distribution, and delivery flows within the region
• Work on mapping materials and volumes to ensure availability for the region's healthcare according to applicable legislation
• Investigate the introduction of central/local warehouses for consumables used within the region's operations
• Review efficiencies in the existing structure
• Cohesive resource within the purchasing process and internal logistics processes

We are looking for someone who

• Is an educated engineer, business economist, supply chain management (logistics) or equivalent
• Has experience working with the design of warehouses, transport solutions, efficiencies in existing structures, and designing digital solutions
• Is accustomed to working with large goods flows
• Has a B driver's license
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in procurement work
• Have experience in service operations
