ABOUT THE POSITION

Nordhydraulic is part of the Hydac Group and specializes in the development and production of hydraulic valves and controls. As a mechanical designer, you will belong to the engineering department, which currently consists of 12 employees with various engineering backgrounds. Together, you will continue to develop work methods and processes to verify new products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a designer, you will work both with adaptation cases based on existing articles and with new development. The role includes, among other things:

• Creating 3D models and technical drawings for hydraulic valves
• Updating existing drawings and documentation
• Participating in product development projects from concept to production
• Testing and verifying designs together with the lab

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, technical physics, or similar
• Has previous experience working in a technical role or has a strong technical interest
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as required in dialogue with colleagues and customers

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previous experience with similar tasks
• Have good knowledge of CAD
• Have knowledge in simulation and calculation (FEM and CFD)
• Have knowledge in hydraulics

Knowledge can be acquired through education, experience, or self-learning.

• Location: Kramfors. Possibility of remote work about 1-2 days/week initially.
