Your Role

We are looking for a Security Governance & Compliance Officer who thrives on working in a constantly changing and dynamic environment where you need to handle the unexpected on a daily basis.

As a Security Governance & Compliance Officer at Surveillance, you will work in an international environment where advanced security threats are part of everyday business alongside complex business environments and projects with high business impact.

In your role, you will provide support in interpretation and control of compliance in the area of security, as a result of laws, regulations, and standards, internal governance or security requirements or conditions set out in legal acts such as contracts or equivalent.

You will be responsible for supporting, analyzing, setting, and following up the security requirements placed on Surveillance regarding governance and compliance against internal and external regulations. The scope varies throughout the entire spectrum of security disciplines, such as personnel, physical, and information security.

You will support the business in security management and in ensuring security compliance, as well as being a key player in handling various security tasks, raising security awareness, and maintaining control throughout the operations.

Your main tasks will be, but not limited to:

• to provide strategic direction for the security function with regard to security governance and compliance
• to translate strategies and strategic objectives into targets and action plans
• to establish structure for policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, tools, and processes within the security function
• to continuously monitor, control/audit, and test compliance with the Surveillance security management system, security governance, and internal steering documents
• to continuously monitor and evaluate applicable laws, regulations, requirements, and agreements within the area of security governance, and if applicable adjust internal regulations accordingly
• to implement, operate, and maintain the Surveillance Security Management System
• to implement, operate, and maintain a systematic security audit and control program
• to support incident management and investigations
• general security support within Surveillance

Your Profile

You are a true team player, always focusing on the team results, whether the team is the security department, the business area/unit, Saab group functions, or Saab as a company.

Required Skills:

• A university degree or equivalent competence acquired through work life experience within the field of security management, crisis management, and/or similar
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Team player with an ability to build and maintain networks inside as well as outside your own organization

Desired Skills:

• Experience from working with Swedish protective security regulations, including the Swedish protective security act and/or similar
• Experience from working with security requirements and compliance and/or security frameworks
• Experience from implementation of and/or driving ISO27001 work
• The ability to improvise, adapt and overcome the unexpected
• Experience from working in an international environment

Personal qualities will be of great importance, and it is of utmost importance that you are trustworthy with strong ethics and high personal integrity. You understand the need for balanced security in a business-driven environment.

Please note that this position will have its primary location in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Linköping but you must be able to travel nationally and internationally.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
