In just a few years, the security and defense political conditions have significantly changed the national defense policy. We are now looking for a Security Officer for the regional office in Enköping/Karlberg who wants to work at one of Sweden's most exciting workplaces while contributing to a robust society and a safer world.

Job Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing operational support and controlling security protection throughout the agency with a focus on the Central/Eastern Region. The operational support includes, for example, support in security protection planning, information security analyses, managing security protection agreements, support in regional security-enhancing measures, security conversations, training, and initiatives to counter and manage incidents as well as conducting training in security protection.

Furthermore, the role involves fulfilling the tasks the agency is mandated to perform according to the Security Protection Act, the Security Protection Ordinance, and the Armed Forces' and Security Police's regulations on security protection.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in the security field or other relevant education for the position. Or equivalent documented work experience that the agency assesses as equivalent. You have experience working with security protection issues, including security protection planning, as well as knowledge of security protection legislation and its regulations. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Swedish. A Class B driver's license is a requirement.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with physical security, information security, security protection analysis, and advising on security issues. Experience in giving presentations and conducting training is also beneficial. If you have knowledge of the Armed Forces' regulations regarding security protection services, that is also an advantage. Signals protection training is also meritorious.

We need you to have a high security awareness with high integrity and good judgment, as well as a pronounced drive to help protect Sweden's security.
