Security Guard in Central Stockholm
Do you want to work as a security guard in central Stockholm for one of Sweden's largest authorities? If you are interested in working and developing alongside experienced colleagues and growing in your role as a security guard in an authority environment, Securus may be right for you.
We are currently looking for security guards for assignments in central Stockholm. The position requires you to be meticulous and attentive, have good social skills, and be accustomed to collaborating with colleagues to create a safe environment for staff and visitors while maintaining a high level of security around the protected object. Experience from alarm center environments is an advantage.
In this assignment, we are responsible for staffing the authority's receptions and alarm center. The reception is staffed during the day on weekdays, and the alarm center is staffed during evenings, nights, and weekends. The assignment partially includes receiving and handling alarms, camera surveillance, and patrol duties. The position is a permanent employment with an initial 6-month probationary period. We need staff who can work full-time/part-time or on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications for the Position
We are looking for you who are an experienced security guard. Since Securus is a security-classified company that primarily works with public authorities, a security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act will be conducted.
For the position, Swedish citizenship and fluent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing are required. You also need to be able to speak and understand English. It is particularly important that you can handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and professional attitude.
We want you as a security guard to have good physical fitness to the extent that you can handle the demanding situations that may arise in the job.
Experience in managing alarm boards for operating gates and handling alarms as well as monitoring with cameras is advantageous. It is also an advantage if you are authorized to carry a weapon.

Salary: According to the collective agreement between Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union
