We continue to expand and are now looking for an associate lawyer for our business group Funds & Investments.

About the role

In this group, we have specialized expertise in fund raising, fund agreements, financial regulation, and sustainability, as well as broad experience in funds & investments.

In your role as an associate lawyer, you will, among other things:

• assist founders with fund structuring (primarily in Sweden but also in Luxembourg), including structural issues, drafting and negotiating fund agreements and other related contracts, as well as handling matters with the Financial Supervisory Authority.
• primarily assist Nordic institutions with investments in private funds (primarily in Sweden, the EU, and the USA), including contract reviews and negotiations with Swedish and international representatives.
• assist in contact with various authorities such as the Companies Registration Office and the Financial Supervisory Authority, both in Sweden and other countries, in connection with registrations, applications, etc.
• assist private funds in their ongoing operations, with both commercial and regulatory issues.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with approximately 4-5 years of experience as a lawyer and who has worked at a law firm.

As an applicant, you are passionate about working as a business lawyer. You are meticulous and analytical, have a genuine interest in the venture capital market and transactions, strive to exceed client expectations, and are attracted to working in a team with a strong sense of camaraderie and forward momentum. You should also be able to work fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

It is advantageous if you

• have worked at a financial institution within funds or with another player in the fund market.
• have experience in transactions and/or regulatory issues.
• are notary qualified.
• have experience with fund issues at the Financial Supervisory Authority.
